Disasterpeace – Midnight Orphans

Where “Level” and “NEUTRALITE” march full steam ahead in chiptune bombacity, “Midnight Orphans” floats between calm and chaotic, expected and unexpected. This is a collection of loose ends written over the last few years. The album material is as early as “Until the Sun Rises” and “Quartz” from 2006, and as recent as “Time Removed”, written in 2010..

    I’m ashamed of bringing this up, but the public value of this album would so increase if you attached an Attribution License to it..

  2. Disasterpeace Says:

    Why does it flash that thing when you press the letter “k” on the Bandcamp website? It’s weird!! :O

    Helped me focus so I could finish some drawings. Also, beautiful with nice headphones! This one’ll get some heavy airtime.

  11. Flit Says:

    You know, these tracks would be right at home in the Knytt universe.

    It’s very hard to please me when you go FM.
    But you did.

    Movement is solid. Found…YOU VIOLIN MURDERER! But I can tell by the feel of it that you meant no harm to it. Groovy drums.
    Marathon, bass and pads are great driving factors here.

    Until the Sun Rises. wow. Just wow.
    Time removed, not immediately liking the panning, maybe softer envelopes on certain chords. But a deep song nonetheless.
    Bird season, syncopated part :)
    Valentine, good use of what I consider to be a solid FM tune. Quartz, niiiiice structure. Builds up nicely. Good album here

    Thanks

    Thanks for the comments guys!

    @Xyz there is very little to no FM on this album, but I’m glad you like it!

    @Flit I LOVE KNYTT

    @NOROCK I HAVE NO IDEA! THAT IS WEIRD!

    Nobody does it as well, or as classy as Disasterpeace! I am sorry I didn’t notice this until now! Holy hell this goes down so smooth! I get wait to put some headphones on and just let my mind wander to this tonight. Another home run, man!

    Fantastic music!

    I’ve only heard this and the Rescue: The Beagles theme, (a favorite of mine), but judging from those, I love your stuff.

  17. Slide20xl Says:

    On a somewhat related note;

    Disasterpeace, do you attend Berklee?

  18. Disasterpeace Says:

    I did! I’ve got some other albums, check em out here on Pause or at disasterpeace.com
