In 2005 I started releasing my music onto the web, under the alias Phlogiston. I have since taken the project to the live stage, and released many more albums for free. You're welcome to check them out.

Geif 2010 A medley of tracks written between spring 2007 and summer 2010. Music deliberately kept in sketch form, with all initial quirks and anomalies intact. Inspired by fictional places often revisited in dreams, enemies fought in video-games and biscuits dunked in coffee. Download at Pause |

Nectar 2009 Two EPs bundled. Croqel Adventure is the semi-sequel to Croqel, and consists of short NES tracks. My goal with this one was to create something that sounded more like actual NES music, than my previous attempt. The other half is Heat, my first real attempt at writing a cyberpunk-themed record. That one is made out of impulse tracker modules, layered with some more or less obvious instrument recordings, such as drums, guitar and synths. Fun fact: Nectar was originally planned to be 4 mini-EPs in one. One of the dropped EPs was "Systems 7-12" - a noise EP, and follow up to my Inpuj release Alternative Angles. The second dropped EP was fake NES music, blended in with some other stuff such as SNES samples. Mode 4, as I had named it, was supposed to follow up my 8bitpeoples release Mode 3. Both scrapped EPs were about half done. Download at Pause |

Alternative Angles 2007 In impulse tracker you can load up any file as a sample, not just audio files. I'm certain I'm not the only one who's fascinated with .exe and .dll files interpreted as audio, and this record is a slightly musical interpretation of these rather harsh sounds located on my hard drive. Certainly the noisiest Phlogiston release, and the one which has caught the least attention since the early days. This one is a split release with Bunbleman. |

Croqel 2007 I debated whether to release this record or not. It consists of tracks I wrote as I was teaching myself Famitracker. I'm glad I did release it, since I think it's an interesting collection of tracks today. My reasons for doubting in the first place was that I hadn't managed to write the album I set out to write. I later got a little closer to that goal with it's sequel Croqel Adventure, before reverting back of sorts, with Geif. Download at Pause |

Mode 3 2007 Impulse tracker modules containing NES samples - not so much NES music. I spent a lot of time with this release, and I remember being stoked to have it released on 8bitpeoples. As a result, this record I wrote in my mid teens is what a lot of people accosiate with the "Phlogiston brand". The EP has been performed live a few times, with a couple of friends joining to form Super Phlogiston. One of these arranged tracks was recorded and appears on Nectar/Heat. Download at 8bitpeoples |

| + Songs here and there on various compilations (These guys seem to list the gist of it.) ++ A few more EPs that I prefer fade into obscurity |
